With only a mixtape under his belt (A Kid Named Cudi) and one widely televised performance at MTV's 2008 VMAs, Kid Cudi is featured on the longlist for the BBC News website's Sound of 2009 poll of up-and-coming acts, and the Crooker's Remix to "Day 'n' Nite" has reached #2 on the UK Singles chart. His debut album Man on the Moon: The Guardians is scheduled for release in Spring 2009.
